Know more about volatiles

The installation is quick and simple as we include a wall mounting set (z-clip principle) inside every shipment. The panel is mounted on the wall just like a canvas. Please make sure that an electric outlet or wire (220V AC) is available at the exact place where the panel will be mounted. For more details, please refer to the installation guide (PDF) in the ‘Materials’ section.
You do not require the help of a trained electrician or handyman to install the panel. Depending on the size and weight of the panel, we do however recommend involving two people for an easier set-up. Large sizes can be heavy, and you may struggle to install it alone. The panel needs to be connected to a standard socket (22V AC) or equivalent wire, which ideally originates from where you wish to place the panel.
The panel uses a standard 2.4 GHz WiFi connection or a wired Ethernet connection to transfer data. If available on the wall, a wired Ethernet connection is the most stable option. For most applications, the WiFi pairing method is sufficient and even without any WiFi network available, the panel can be operated via the built-in touch menu (if touch activity is selected).
The panel is designed, and recommended, to be mounted on a wall. There is not harm in installing it on the ceiling (ceiling mounting kit not available). The use on the floor, however, is strictly forbidden as the panel is not designed to withstand any significant weight.
We exclusively use high-quality, branded, and certified electronic components and we test all panels thoroughly in our factory. The LED lamps used in our panel have a claimed life expectancy of over 100,000h.
Yes, we are proud to exclusively rely on authentic building materials, which you would use also in other high-end “analogue” building projects. We use real wood, real natural stone, real glass mosaic and real concrete, all of which carry substantial intrinsic value and a virtually infinite life expectancy even without the added technology.
The panel is shipped door-to-door in a air-tight and sturdy wooden crate to avoid transportation damage. Every shipment is tracked and fully insured for the value of its contents.
Please refer to the tech spec section in the ‘Materials’ section. The weight of a panel depends on the type of material chosen. Generally speaking, the weight varies from 18-26 kg per sqm.

Each panel we build is unique and made-to-order in Berlin, Germany. We do offer a return policy under certain conditions for items purchased in the online shop (Configurator), but not for the Bespoke segment. The panel needs to be sent back within 7 days in unused condition and in its original packaging at the expense of the customer. The return shipment must be insured for the full value of the order. The panel will then be inspected thoroughly. A cleaning and processing fee may apply. All details can be found in the General Terms and Conditions. At present, we offer a KNX integration (for example GIRA Home Server) for the panel. This way, the panel can be controlled via a KNX server and its KNX app. Please get in touch with us to discuss all details.

We make sure that every panel is thoroughly tested before shipping. In the event of a defect, please contact us as soon as possible. Depending on the size of the panel, it either has to be sent back to us or we will send a service technician. Every panel can be serviced from the front (front maintenance) and each LED module can be replaced separately. During the length of the warranty, we will repair your panel at no cost. The standard length of the warranty is 2 years from the day of shipment. The length of the warranty can be extended to 5 years at a surcharge. Please get in touch for us for all details. Terms and conditions apply.
